The MoD is promoting lifelong learning among members of the Armed Forces and the veterans community by providing Learning Credits through the Enhanced Learning Credits scheme (ELC) and Further Education and Higher Education (FEHE) scheme.

Training is accessible to serving personnel and service leavers of the military first via The Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service from where credits can be claimed to fund your course. There are eligibility rules which include having previously joined the Enhanced Learning Credit (ELC) scheme and completed six years eligible service (four years qualifying service prior to the 1st April 2017).
