Certificates

Are certificates issued at the end of courses?

Yes. A digital certificate for course completion is issued at the end of each course. And, for PRINCE2 courses, certificates for passing these exams are issued by PeopleCert.

How can a place on a course be booked?

Can bookings be made over the phone for courses?

Yes. Call us on 020 3131 0039 to discuss your training requirements including the format of the course (as per stated on our site or bespoke). There are discounts  for group bookings.

Courses - general

Course times

What are the course times?

Courses typically start at 09.00 am and finish at 5.00 pm (UK time). There are breaks, including for lunch, throughout the day.

Course deliveries

Are courses delivered live by a trainer?

Yes. Courses are delivered by a qualified trainer virtually via a video conferencing platform, or in person at company premises or a training venue, or hybrid (virtually and in person) - in the UK or abroad

Target audience

Are courses only for those who work in a specific industry?
No. The courses explain project management, stakeholder management and business practices relevant to individuals who work undertake, or aspire to undertake, project work frequently or infrequently regardless of industry.

Cancellations

Can a course be cancelled after a booking has been made?

Yes. The cancellation terms are as follows:

  • Full refund if the booking is cancelled 15 calendar days or more in advance of the course

  • 50% refund if the booking is cancelled 7-14 days in advance of the course

  • 0% refund if the booking is cancelled less than 7 days in advance of the course

Cancellation must be provided in writing (via email to info@harleyjassociates.co.uk) with proof of sent message to be retained. Confirmation of receipt of cancellation will be sent from us by reply.

Courses joining instructions

What details are sent to the candidate once a course is booked?

The following are emailed to the candidate once a course is booked:

  • Access to courseware (which we recommend reviewing thoroughly prior to course attendance)

  • Joining instructions including virtual conference link (for virtual and hybrid courses)

  • Also, for PRINCE2 courses, instructions regarding exams and e-book (manual) access (for Foundation course or Foundation and Practitioner combined course). Please note that hard copies (physical PRINCE2 manuals) are not included with the course but we can purchase this for candidates at a discounted price, as required. 

Payment

How is payment taken?

Payments are processed via invoice.

Please note that Harley J Associates Ltd is a VAT registered company (VAT no. 404 2409 39) so must charge VAT on our services. Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.

PRINCE2 exams

How are PRINCE2 exams booked?
Upon booking a PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner combined course with us, we notify PeopleCert Exam Institute who will email to the candidate (within 48 hours of a secured booking) an exam voucher code (for the PRINCE2 Foundation course), an exam voucher code (for the PRINCE2 Practitioner course), or two exam voucher codes (one for the Foundation and one for the Practitioner modules of the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner combined course). PeopleCert also forward comprehensive details of how to register for a PeopleCert account, schedule exams, and other useful exam and PRINCE2 manual information.

Once a candidate registers for their PeopleCert account, the Foundation exam voucher code can be inputted into the exam booking area of their dashboard. Within the exam area are located date and time slots to either explore (only) or explore and book exams. 

The Practitioner exam voucher code can also be inputted into the exam booking area of the dashboard but typically requires proof of having first achieved the Foundation certificate.

Please note that if taking the combined Foundation and Practitioner course, we recommend sitting the Foundation exam on completion of the entire course (and when fully confident of Foundation knowledge), and sitting the Practitioner exam after having gained the Foundation certificate (and, again, when fully confident of Practitioner knowledge - usually no later than two weeks following the study of both modules). 

The exams are virtual events that are scheduled by the candidate and proctored by PeopleCert.

Can failed PRINCE2 exams be re-taken?
Yes. We can arrange exam re-takes at a separate discounted cost. Contact us to discuss this requirement. 

PRINCE2 manual

How can the PRINCE2 manual be obtained?
Upon booking a PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner combined course with us, we notify PeopleCert Exam Institute who will email to the candidate (within 48 hours of a secured booking) an exam voucher code (for the PRINCE2 Foundation course), or two exam voucher codes (one for the Foundation and one for the Practitioner modules of the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner combined course). PeopleCert also forward comprehensive details of how to register for a PeopleCert account, schedule exams, and other useful exam and PRINCE2 manual information.

Once a candidate registers for their PeopleCert account, the Foundation exam voucher code can be inputted into the exam booking area of their dashboard (to either explore (only) or explore and book exams), and the digital version of the PRINCE2 manual (ebook) will be accessible from the ebook tab of the dashboard.

Note that, if taking the Practitioner course only, the PRINCE2 manual (ebook or hard copy) is not provided.

Is a hard copy (physical version) of the PRINCE2 manual included with the course?
No, but we can purchase this for candidates at a discounted price, as required.
